Is it free to play?
Yes, you can play for free.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Phone, tablet, computer or TV — you can play without downloading anything.
What do I need to create an account?
Just a username (3-20 characters) and a password of at least 8 characters.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, on the server. Whatever device you log in from, you continue from the same sector and position.
Can I change my race later?
No. You choose between Humanity and the Space Pirates once, on your first login, and the choice is permanent. Your race decides the sectors you spawn in, your chat channel and who you fight.
When do chat and trading unlock?
You can post in general and race chat from level 7; party, clan and private messages are open from the start. Trading unlocks at level 12, and both players must have reached that level.
Is monero a real cryptocurrency?
No. Monero is the game's second currency and only exists inside the game. You earn it by defeating enemies and from some bonus boxes; it drops more often deeper in the galaxy.
